Erin Huizenga is a design catalyst, strategist & educator, she enjoys learning what motivates people and designing new communities that meet their needs through branded experiences, services, programs and systems within education and healthcare, social enterprises, nonprofits, foundations and purpose-minded businesses. After working as a design consultant for many Fortune 100 and 500 companies at design offices like Gravity Tank and IDEO, she founded EPIC: Engaging Philanthropy, Inspiring Creatives, which has worked with over 50 nonprofit organizations in Chicago and Minneapolis and provided over $4M+ in creative pro-bono service fees in the last five years by engaging thousands of top creative professionals in volunteerism. She is also the Founder of Till School, a new pop-up summer design school for juniors and seniors in high school who are interested in design thinking and making. She has created curriculum and taught at Columbia College Chicago, lectured for School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), created and launched the design program at the Chicago Portfolio School and presently creates curriculum and teaches design to graduate students at Northwestern University.
