Rich GordonProfessor


Gordon is a professor and director of digital innovation at Medill. Gordon has spent most of his career exploring the areas where journalism and technology intersect. Prior to Northwestern he spent nine years at the Miami Herald as an editor and the publication’s first media director, and served as reporter, bureau chief and assistant state editor at the Richmond (Va.) Times-Dispatch. In addition to teaching, he is director of new communities for the Northwestern Media Management Center. Gordon has a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
