Principles of Entrepreneurship: ENTREP 225 & IEMS 225

This survey-style course serves as the foundational course for the Farley undergraduate minor in entrepreneurship. It is also a good choice for students who simply wish to familiarize themselves with the world of entrepreneurship. Students will learn to think like entrepreneurs, and will be introduced to key topics relevant to entrepreneurship, including customer discovery, finance, and marketing. They will also learn how to understand and analyze a broad range of entrepreneurial activity, and will have the opportunity to locate their own goals and values within the field of entrepreneurship.

This course is offered every quarter.
Generally offered Mondays/Wednesdays and Tuesdays/Thursdays.

Prerequisites: None.

Requirements that this course satisfies: Serves as core requirement for the Farley undergraduate minor in entrepreneurship.

Duration: 1.5 hour course sessions, twice per week, or 3 hour course sessions; 1 quarter

Class size: 30 students

Who Should Enroll

This course is offered to Northwestern undergraduate students only. It is appropriate for any student interested in entrepreneurship, particularly first- or second-year students with no prior experience in entrepreneurship. It will also benefit students who are already engaged with entrepreneurship on campus.
