The Farley Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation’s Undergraduate Minor in Entrepreneurship is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a practical education in how to start a business or how to make innovation a cornerstone of their career paths. The minor is open to all undergraduate students at the university.
The Undergraduate Minor requires 8 courses, which includes 5 core courses and 3 electives. No more than 3 courses may be double counted toward a student’s major program. Courses with a grade lower than “C-” (C minus) cannot be applied to the minor.
Students must declare the minor at least one year prior to their expected graduation date.
PLEASE NOTE: Farley Center is no longer offering the Undergraduate Certificate. New certificate declarations will not be accepted.

Leadership, Ethics & You (ENTREP 360) OR Entrepreneurship Demystified (ENTREP 361)

Any Farley Center experiential course - includes NUvention courses, Radical Entrepreneurship (ENTREP 350), and Innovate for Impact (ENTREP 340)
Electives
Electives can be any combination of the following options:
- Any Farley Center course
- Independent Study (ENTREP 399/499 with Farley Center faculty member - Max. one unit
- Other coursework related to entrepreneurship from other programs, including BIP, Segal, Medill/IMC (must be a 300-level course and students must get prior approval from the Farley Center)
